brandon station townhouse community planned
A new townhouse community - Brandon Station - will be presented to the Roanoke City Planning Commission on October 14. This 195-unit community will be located on Brandon Avenue with the entrance located just prior to the Skate Center going towards Salem. This land was already zoned for apartments. If approved, construction is scheduled to begin in 2026. Although a detailed traffic study has been conducted related to its impact on Brandon Avenue - there are concerns about the increase volume of cut-through traffic expected to impact Keagy Rd, Cravens Creek Rd, Deyerle Rd, Mudlick Rd.
